Terms and Conditions

Last updated · July 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you book a place at camp or buy one of our learning apps. We have tried to write them in plain English rather than legal English.

01 · Who you are dealing with

Evergreen Kids Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, running holiday camps at Herne Hill School, 127 Herne Hill, London SE24 9LY. We are registered with Ofsted under URN 2817302. You can reach us at info@evergreenkids.co.uk or on 07411 625794.

02 · Booking a place at camp
  • Camp is for children in Reception to Year 3. Places are booked by the day.
  • A booking is confirmed once payment has been taken. Payment is processed by Stripe through our website.
  • Places are limited and sold on a first come basis. A day that shows as sold out has genuinely reached capacity.
  • You must give us accurate information at the point of booking, in particular your child's date of birth, year group, and any allergies or medical needs. We rely on it to staff the camp safely and to put your child in the right group.
  • If a booking is made in the wrong year group, or with an incorrect date of birth, and your child turns out not to be eligible, we will refund the booking less a £5 administration fee.
03 · Changes and cancellations

The short version. We hold a limited number of places and we staff to the number booked. If you cancel, we will refund you only if another family buys the place you are giving up, less a £5 administration fee.

  • Refunds are issued only if your place is repurchased by another family, and are made less a £5 administration fee.
  • Places are offered to other families in the order the cancellations reach us.
  • Extended care fees are non refundable. This covers early drop off and late pick up.
  • To cancel or change a booking, email us at info@evergreenkids.co.uk. Please do not assume a change has been made until we have confirmed it.
04 · Tax Free Childcare

We accept Tax Free Childcare through a refund system. You book and pay for the place as normal, and we refund you once the voucher payment reaches us. Your place is confirmed from the point you pay, not from the point the voucher arrives.

05 · During camp
  • Children are collected only by you or by someone you have named as an authorised collector. Please tell us in advance if someone different is collecting.
  • Please arrive within the drop off and collection windows you have booked. Repeated late collection may mean we have to charge for extended care.
  • We will give first aid and, where necessary, seek emergency medical treatment for your child. We will contact you as soon as we can.
  • We can only give medication where you have completed our medication form.
  • We want every child to enjoy camp. In the rare case where a child's behaviour puts themselves or others at risk, we will talk to you first and work out a plan together. We reserve the right to ask you to collect your child, and in serious cases to end a booking, though this is a last resort.
  • Our safeguarding, behaviour, health and safety and complaints policies are available on request.
06 · Photos and videos

We ask for your photography and video consent when you book, and we record your answer. Children whose parents have not consented are not included in anything we publish. You can change your mind at any time by emailing us. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

07 · Our learning apps

Evergreen Wildkin and the Reading Workshop are digital products you buy separately from camp. The following applies to both.

  • You pay once, at the price shown at checkout. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.
  • Access is tied to the device and browser you buy on. Your purchase and your child's progress are stored in that browser, not in an account on our servers. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or switching to another device or browser will lose access. This is set out on the product pages before you buy, and it is the single most important thing to understand about how these work.
  • Access is granted immediately once payment completes.
  • The apps are for personal use by your own family. Please do not share, resell or redistribute the content or the worksheets you generate.
  • Parts of the apps generate content using third party artificial intelligence services. We check the material we build, but generated content can occasionally contain errors. Please use your judgement, as you would with any resource.
  • We may add to, change or retire features over time.

Your rights when buying digital content

At checkout you are asked to agree that we begin supplying the content straight away, and to acknowledge that agreeing to this ends your right to change your mind. Once you have agreed and access has begun, the 14 day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 no longer applies. If you would rather keep that right, do not tick the box and do not open the app, and contact us instead.

That does not affect your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, or if something has gone wrong with your purchase, email us at info@evergreenkids.co.uk and we will put it right.

08 · Our responsibility to you

We take our duty of care to your child seriously and we carry public liability insurance.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.

Beyond that, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or for personal belongings brought to camp. Please leave valuables at home.

09 · Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones published when you booked. The date at the top shows when this page last changed.

10 · Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If something has gone wrong, please tell us first. Email info@evergreenkids.co.uk and we will do our best to sort it out quickly.
