Maths made
together.
Help your child practise maths while they grow a woodland creature. Every question gives you a method to try and words to help explain it.
For Reception to Year 3. Made for a child and a grown up to play together.
About 10 to 15 minutes per area. Stop when you need to.
Before you buy: use the device and browser your child will play in. Access and progress stay there.
How it works.
Choose a creature, work through five maths areas together, then create a new illustration for its evolved form.
Choose a Starter Creature
Pick from 10 unique creatures, each with their own look, personality, and starting stats. Whether your child connects with Sproutling, Mosskit, or Pebblepaw, this is their companion for the journey.
Train With Maths Challenges
Each area focuses on a different core maths skill. If your child gets stuck or hesitates, tap "How to help" to instantly see exact vocabulary tips written by teachers for you.
Build Your Wildkin's Stats
Health, Strength, Defence, Speed, and Special. Watch the stat bars grow as your child masters each topic. Every correct answer directly builds their creature's power.
Watch Your Wildkin Evolve
Score well and your creature earns a rarity upgrade: Bronze, Silver, Gold, or the legendary Holographic edition. High performance unlocks a collectible card that truly stands out.
Save Your Creature Card
Save the finished card as an image, or print a copy to keep. Your child can return to practise and try another creature.
See it in action.
Try this question together. Choose an answer, then open the teaching note for a way to explain it.
There are 5 apples. You eat 2.
How many are left?
Choose an answer.
Say "We had 5 apples and took away 2. What do we have left?" rather than just asking "What is 5 minus 2?"
Put 5 spoons or counters on the table. Have your child physically remove 2, then count what remains together.
Avoid saying "it's easy" or jumping in to give the number. Give them space to process and count at their own pace.
Meet the 10 Starter Wildkin.
Every child starts by picking their companion. Each creature brings a unique design and starting profile to their mathematical journey.
Why this is different.
When a question is tricky, the grown up needs help too. Our teaching notes give you a practical way to explain it without taking over.
Made by Classroom Teachers
We are Brad and Emma, experienced teachers with over 30 years of combined experience. We built Wildkin around the ways we explain maths.
Guidance on Every Question
Every question has a teaching tip explaining the method, the language, and common mistakes to watch for. You see what they see.
Practice for Their Year Group
Choose from four year groups, with questions that start gently and build in difficulty. This is extra practice to use alongside school learning.
The Magic is in the Parent
Read the question together, let your child try, and use the guidance when they need it. You can stop after an area and come back later.
More places to explore

We made the game we wanted at home.
We are Brad and Emma. We are experienced teachers and run Evergreen Kids holiday camps in South London.
We wanted parents to have the words and methods we use in the classroom, right beside the question. We tried Wildkin with our own son, then with a small group of test parents. Their feedback helped shape the game.

Frequently asked questions.
Can siblings share?
Yes. Use a different name or nickname for each child. Their journeys are saved separately in the same browser, with a separate save for each year group. Each year group is purchased separately.
What devices does it work on?
Use an up to date browser on a tablet, phone or computer. Try the free preview on that device before buying. Access and progress stay in the browser you use to purchase.
How long does the journey take?
About 10 to 15 minutes per area. The full journey across all 5 areas takes roughly 1 hour in total, designed to be split across multiple sessions. And the journey is not the end: once their creature evolves, bonus areas unlock covering money, time, measurement and shape, plus a mixed challenge run.
Does it run offline?
After you load the game online, you can return to that browser to practise offline. The first visit, payment, email updates and creating a new creature image need an internet connection.
Does this cover the whole curriculum?
No. Wildkin offers extra practice across selected maths topics for Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. It supports learning at home, but does not replace teaching or assess every curriculum objective. Each year group is a separate pack.
Can my child replay it?
Yes. Replay an area for more practice, or save the finished card and start a new creature journey. An area replay replaces its previous result. Starting a fresh journey resets that child's current creature and progress.
